II.Theme
Meet Fuzhou with Oceangoing Vessels
III.Purpose
In a bid to thoroughly implement the strategy of constructing China to be a maritime power, demonstrate the achievements attained in the development of law enforcement vessels, rescue vessels, scientific research vessels and other vessels as well as related marine equipment and facilities, improve the people’s understanding of the development of marine equipment, enhance the social atmosphere of caring for and constructing the ocean, and contribute to building a marine power and promoting the exchange of marine civilizations in the world.
IV.Participating Vessels
It is planned to invite coastguard vessels, rescue vessels, research vessels, etc.
V.Dock Location
Berth 3-6# in Mawei Qingzhou Operation Area of Fuzhou Port and the former Taiwan comprehensive passenger terminal building behind it are selected. The total length of the berth is about 740 meters, with berthing capacity of one 20,000-ton vessel and three 10,000-ton vessels, and the water depth of wharf frontier is 9.6-11.5 meters.
VI. Visitors
1. Individual registration of Chinese citizens (due to large flow of people on site and the need to get on and off the gangway, pregnant women, people with mobility difficulties, elderly people over 70 years old and children under 5 years old are not recommended to register for safety consideration).
2. Municipal units, colleges and universities, primary and secondary schools, social organizations can make group registration.
