At 8 o’clock on August 22, with the departure of the Norwegian vessel, the export shipment plan of eight high-power wind blades produced by LM Wind Energy Blade Products (Fujian) Co., Ltd. was successfully completed, and the products set off for Britain.

The single length of these wind turbine blades is nearly 108m, which is difficult to hoist. Fugang Container, which is responsible for the dock operation in Jiangyin Port Area, has dispatched elite troops to form a project service team, which is fully prepared from the aspects of blade port collection, ship berthing, site arrangement and hoisting operation, so as to efficiently complete the blade loading task.
Xie Zuoxiang, senior shipping manager of Fuzhou Branch of Fujian Sinotrans Shipping Agency Co., Ltd., an agent company, said that the one-stop service provided by the border inspection authorities has realized zero delay in the arrival and departure of ships, which has shortened the formalities and customs clearance time.
In recent years, Fujian offshore wind power industry has developed rapidly. Fujian Three Gorges Offshore Wind Power International Industrial Park has become the original technology source of offshore wind power in China. Many leading wind power enterprises have gathered here, forming a complete industrial chain of structural parts, motors, blades and complete machines, with the capacity of producing, distributing and after-sales service of wind turbines and main components with an annual output of more than 3 million kilowatts.
In order to meet the needs of the wind power equipment industry going global, Fugang Container signed a cooperation agreement with LMWind Energy Blade Products (Fujian) Co., Ltd., and opened a wind energy distribution center in Jiangyin Port Area in 2022, actively building a foreign trade hub port for China’soffshore wind power industry. Since December 2022, the company has successively declared and exported 173 wind turbine blades from Jiangyin Port Area in the form of processing trade, with a value of RMB 890 million.
